Energy Certificates for New and Existing Buildings and Mandatory Inspection of Air Conditioning

The Government has issued the Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) Regulations 2007. These regulations bring requirements into force for energy certificates to be provided when buildings are constructed, sold or rented as part of the pre acquisition information. There are also requirements for the regular inspection and reporting on existing air conditioning systems.
